Sali At Night
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Nikkor 50mm f/1.8
4. December 2011
Another picture from my holiday this year. The long-exposure was taken from our balcony while we we’re playing cards and drinking some wine :)So you can imagine how wonderful our life was at Lavdara. If you like to see the sunset before this shot, follow this link. BTW, I’m also working on a timelapse, so keep on track…
Beside that, I know I promised a new image for my series, but this will take some time. I’ll try my best to realize it before this year ends…

And Then All Lights Extinguished (365/365)
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Nikkor 50mm f/1.8
7. June 2011
Well, I’m finished! This is my last photo for this 365…Thanks to my mam for helping me with this. She was the one, who blew out the candles and she also helped me to be in focus because otherwise this would have been a pain in the ass to shoot! The meaning of this image should be clear. The candles stand for my 365, which is over now. That’s the reason why the candles don’t burn anymore and smoke surrounds them. I had this in my mind since days now and I knew that it would be perfect for my last photo and I hope you like it as well.
It was really an interesting year. This project was really awesome, although sometimes I really wanted to quit. But if you’re thinking about starting a 365 yourself - DO IT! This project helped me to grow in more than one aspect. It definitely helped me grow as a photographer, as well as a person. I made so many experiences this year. As mentioned before, I gained a lot more photography skills and I also met a lot of people, who talked with me about the project. I really got a lot of feedback, advices as well as admiration.
This project showed me how much I love photography! I know that it will be always a part of me either as a hobby or maybe sometime as a profession. Because of this awareness, I have to say that I’m a little bit sad that this project is already over. Nevertheless, I’m not going to start up another 365 this year. Sorry to disappoint, but I really need some time now to see where photography takes me now…
Completing my 365 was really worth it. I never missed a day although this project was a pain in the ass some times, but on other days I could have made 5 photo’s and more at the same time… Some days I felt inspired and on other days I couldn’t come up with an idea at all. Anyway, I mostly spend 1-5 hours (some times even more) for each image. Beginning with the set up, shooting, editing and sometimes also the walk to the location. Nevertheless, I really think it was worth it and I’m really proud of myself that I finished it. Looking back at older photos shows me that this time was definitely worth it.
Last but not least, I want to thank a few people. First of all, I want to thank my boyfriend, friends and family. They always supported me during this project. Especially my boyfriend needed some extra nerves when I spend most of the day shooting and editing that being with him :) And of course, I want to thank YOU GUYS! don’t even know where to start, but you all have been so supportive and amazing. Thank you for all the nice comments, feedbacks and critiques as well as motivating me to keep on every day.
WOHOO, I’M DONE! TIME TO CELEBRATE :)
PS: Kinda nice that it’s my birthday tomorrow, ha?

All Good Things Come In Threes (357/365)
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Nikkor 50mm f/1.8
30. May 2011
Hey guys, sorry again for my absence! If you hadn’t read it on my Twitter, Facebook or Flickr here it is for the last time: I’m really sorry, but I had to make a break from my 365 as I mentioned it already on my Twitter some days ago. I was to weak to sit in front of the computer and that’s the reason why you read this by now…
I have a severe pyrexia with angina and sinusitis. This means that I have to stay in bed, but I couldn’t do anything else because I can’t swallow and I have such severe headaches because of the sinusitis that it’s hard for me to keep my eyes open. I hope you understand now why I had to pause my 365 project, but don’t panic, I’ll restart it when I feel fit enough and since I’m typing this now I think it’s just a matter of days. I really miss you guys and your feedback, but most of all I miss photography!
Hopefully, I can finish this project now without any other disruptions….

Guys, I think I’m going to buy myself a Diana F! I’m not sure if it’ll be the Diana F+ Mr. Pink or the Diana Mini En Rose, but it’s going to be definitely a Diana. I wanted such a camera for years now and since I have some money left, I’m going to do it :) If you have a Diana feel free to share your results and opines with me. I’d love to hear nice stories, advices or see some nice photos. Just share the link in a comment with me!
PS: I love candle light because it makes the skin of us women look nice ;)

Hiding At A Secret Place (330/365)

Actually, this should look different because you can’t see that I’m in a closet at all… Unfortunately I don’t have the equipment to build a complete set-up. So you have to imaging that I’m looking out of my parents closet ;)
Beside that, I was shopping today. I bought some nail art stuff and I can’t wait to try it. This brings me to the point where I wanted to ask you, if you’d love to see some nail art tutorials from me? If so, please leave a comment.

We Gotta Find Our Way Back To The Light (306/365)
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Nikkor 50mm f/1.8
9. April 2011
Our poise is set strike, now don’t rest. Hesitation can kill the best. The words can’t get through. These teeth lock in the truth. They scream of murder at bodies bruised. We gotta get it right, just wanna find our way.
Today is the birthday of a good friend of mine. His girlfriend decided to make a surprising party and I can’t wait to see his face… Sadly, I couldn’t sleep during the afternoon because my dad decided to make noises with his stupid tools. Why does he always do this on days when I urgently need some sleep -.-

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone!I hope that you’re going to meet with your friends in your favorite pub today and drink some Magners. I’m definitely at a friend’s pub today, but unfortunately I have to drive so no alcohol for me :) He also bought some green food color to make all the drink green today! What about you, are you going out today?
